Room decor + organisational tips

Hello again. This week I will be showing you around my room and ways I keep it tidy. If (like me) you have a tiny room, you will know the struggles of trying to keep it as un-cluttered as possible... trust me, it's difficult. In this post I will give you a couple of ideas on how to do so!

Firstly for your desk... I used a plastic starbucks cup I bought for £1 as a place to store coloured pens, pencils, etc.

I use this small, clear drawer from Muji, for anything that might clutter up my desk. I like how it is transparent because you can see all the contents so your desk doesn't look too bare either.

I had a bare wall next to my desk so I got a magnetic board, cut some pics out of various magazines and  arranged them in a way that looked kinda Tumblr. I like how it turned out and it definately fills up that blank wall.

Now to the right of my desk... I have got a teeny tiny set of vintage drawers that I customised myself with cute little handles.

On top of it I got a plastic popcorn container from Urban Outfitters and put in it nail varnishes, EOS lipbalms, hand creams, etc.

I just thought this was a kinda artsy picture so...

Then here i've just got a pair of magazine racks (?) from whsmith to keep my floor tidy.

I really love this. In it I store lipbalms, scents, rings and more. I just think it looks really sweet and it is great use of storage (Tiger £10).

I also hung a couple of necklaces on the side.

These CD racks from Habitat are the best. They look so cool on the wall above my bean bag and a great use of space. I didn't just store CD's in it, I put my headphones and my polaroid to!

This Yankee candle air freshener is great for small rooms as it freshens the air (well...duhh). And I know what your thinking; look at the horrible weather outside the window, yeah i'm thinking that too.

And finally for an indie touch, I have strung some fairy lights above and across my bed.

I hope you enjoyed reading this. Until the next time!
Silver linings...
