A day trip to Brighton

Hii. Yesterday my family and I went down to Brighton for the day, just because we love the little lanes, and the pier (and you have a chance of meeting Zoella, Alfie and to be honest most youtubers). Anyway... I decided to take pictures of these things (not including the youtubers... damn it) and write a post about my day out to Brighton.

I'm not going to go into to too much detail about what I was wearing because this is not an outfit post but I went for the 'comfy to walk around in but warm' look.

We first walked around the lanes and went into a few cute looking shops.

(btw I dont know these people but I bet they are glad to be included in my blog post! ahah...)

I just took a couple of artsy pictures, well mabye not a couple... quite a few, but I got a few odd glances from the shop keepers and just local people wandering around...

There were so many cute shops with cool stuff in them!

I then dropped into the Bluebird Tea Company and I bought a strawberry lemonade iced tea. It sounds over the top but trust me it was delicious.

I also found this awesome graffiti as I wandered down a lane.

We didn't actually go into ChoccyWoccyDooDah but the cakes in the window were amazing and from watching Zoe's vlogs apparently the hot chocolate is good too!

Then we walked through this park next to Brighton pavilion (probably pavilion park...) and the sun came out! It was suddenly really hot which is strange for Feburary.

We then went to 'The Chilli Pickle' for lunch, a delicious Indian restaurant quite close to the pier.

I got a lime cooler and a Masala Dosa, they were both amazing.

Before I went on any rides I popped into Lush (and Paperchase) and bought a couple of things.

Then we started walking to the pier and went into a little arcade, which ended up telling me my fortune by the date of my birthday?! (not sure it will be entirely true...)

After walking on the beach for a bit in the direction of the pier we finally came to the pier and the view was absolutely beautiful!

Then we went on a couple of rides, like log ride (getting absolutely soaked), bumper cars, and played some games, like tin can alley. I also walked past a Fortune Teller but after my foretold 'future' from the arcade I think I'd had enough for one day.

We ended the day with an Italian vanilla ice cream cone and walked back to the station.

This is the station...

I really enjoyed my trip and I recommend anyone who lives in the UK should go and visit!

I hope you enjoyed reading this. Until the next time!

Valentines lush haul

Hey there. It was valentines day, yesterday and I picked up a couple of things from lush! Just in case you were wondering i bought the ones that I most liked the smell of but there was plenty more to choose from. I also kinda stuck with a pinky/ purple theme for valentines day. If you are looking to get some of these products, you need to be quick because Valentines day was YESTERDAY!

First up, creamy candy bubble bar. To be honest this is a classic lush product, and probably the first one I ever bought, but the smell is so good and I needed a bubble bar so picked it up. All you do is crumble it under the running tap and it creates lots of bubbles!

Now for the rose jam bubble bar. This the same as the creamy candy bubble bar, but it is rose scented.
The good thing about these is that you don't have to use all of it at once, for example you could crumble half of it in the bath.

This is a bath bomb (not sure I want to write the name cause... well go into a store and find out...haha), but the point is it looks really pretty in the bath, it smells great and it doesn't really matter what the name is. Anyway... what you do with these is you drop them into the bath and they fizz up until there is nothing left other than a pretty colour.

Next up is a body bar called strawberry feels. As you can probably tell already it smells of strawberries and it is basically like a body lotion, but in a bar.

Now this is a bath bomb is called Tisty tosty. Yeah... i'm not really sure about what the name means but I don't mind because the smell is lovely and when put in the bath the roses stay and just float on the surface of your water.

And finally this bubble bar called heart throb. Like all the other ones you crumble it into your bath, But with this one I think it turns the water magenta. It smells very floral and all round a very good product.

Over all I am very happy with the products I bought and I am wishing you a belated happy valentines day!

I hope you enjoyed reading this. Until the next time!

Room decor + organisational tips

Hello again. This week I will be showing you around my room and ways I keep it tidy. If (like me) you have a tiny room, you will know the struggles of trying to keep it as un-cluttered as possible... trust me, it's difficult. In this post I will give you a couple of ideas on how to do so!

Firstly for your desk... I used a plastic starbucks cup I bought for £1 as a place to store coloured pens, pencils, etc.

I use this small, clear drawer from Muji, for anything that might clutter up my desk. I like how it is transparent because you can see all the contents so your desk doesn't look too bare either.

I had a bare wall next to my desk so I got a magnetic board, cut some pics out of various magazines and  arranged them in a way that looked kinda Tumblr. I like how it turned out and it definately fills up that blank wall.

Now to the right of my desk... I have got a teeny tiny set of vintage drawers that I customised myself with cute little handles.

On top of it I got a plastic popcorn container from Urban Outfitters and put in it nail varnishes, EOS lipbalms, hand creams, etc.

I just thought this was a kinda artsy picture so...

Then here i've just got a pair of magazine racks (?) from whsmith to keep my floor tidy.

I really love this. In it I store lipbalms, scents, rings and more. I just think it looks really sweet and it is great use of storage (Tiger £10).

I also hung a couple of necklaces on the side.

These CD racks from Habitat are the best. They look so cool on the wall above my bean bag and a great use of space. I didn't just store CD's in it, I put my headphones and my polaroid to!

This Yankee candle air freshener is great for small rooms as it freshens the air (well...duhh). And I know what your thinking; look at the horrible weather outside the window, yeah i'm thinking that too.

And finally for an indie touch, I have strung some fairy lights above and across my bed.

I hope you enjoyed reading this. Until the next time!
