A perfect winter pamper evening

Hello again! How are you? I have just gone back to school so I have been getting a lot more tired (compared to the holidays where you don't even know what day it is half of the time). I have been needing a time on the weekend where I relax and don't think about anything. So I thought I would share with you my tips on how to have the perfect pamper evening!

 Have a bath
Having a bath is always a good idea. It gives you time to relax and makes your skin nice and soft. I used The 'Christmas penguin' bubble bar from Lush (for obvious reasons..to make bubbles!) and Zoella's Fizz Bar to make the water soft. I also like to listen to the radio in the bath, just to make sure I am not thinking about anything else!

Light some candles
I like lighting candles all the time, not only on pamper evenings, but on these occasions it adds to the mood. As well as dimming the lights, lighting candles makes the atmosphere a lot calmer. Here I have used 'rainwashed berry' and 'sugared apple' by Yankee Candle.

Throw on some comfy clothes
Do I even need to explain? Comfy clothes are just the best, really. I put on a white t-shirt, an oversized jumper, some black leggings and fuzzy socks!

 Putting on a face mask
After my bath I will then put on a face mask. They are good for your skin, smell amazing and just a great thing to use if you need a bit of time to unwind! This particular one smells of chocolate orange and heats up when you apply it (I bought it from Boots).

Painting your nails
While I wait for my face mask to dry, I tend to paint my nails. This time I used 'Hype' by Jessica. It is a cloudy caramel colour and makes your nails very shiny and healthy looking. Even though it's quite a subtle/neutral colour I really like it.

Have a hot chocolate and watch some TV
What can I say? There isn't really anything better than curling up on the sofa with a hot chocolate to hand, watching a programme on telly (I recommend the Voice UK or a repeat of your favourite TV drama...). It's a great way to end your pamper evening and to be honest, who doesn't love it?

I hope you enjoyed reading this. Until the next time!
Silver linings...
